How It All Began

In 2019, I stepped into the real world after college with degrees in Architecture and Construction Management, but no real connection to the path ahead.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned along the way is not to lose sight of the journey in pursuit of the end goal and that sometimes, what you think is the destination isn’t where you’re meant to end up.

I knew I wanted something more creative. Something with energy, movement, and depth.

Photography started as that outlet, but it quickly became something more. What seemed simple on the surface revealed layers of complexity: light, timing, composition, direction, all requiring intention and control.

I found that foundation through mentorship, spending the next several years fully immersed in the craft. Not just learning how to use a camera, but developing a deeper understanding of what makes an image lasting, including everything that happens before and after the shutter is pressed.

That time shaped the way I work today: with care, precision, and a focus on the details most people overlook.

Now, in 2026, I’m building something of my own.

AMRA & CO is a reflection of everything I’ve learned, a more immersive, intentional approach to documenting people as they are, with a focus on honesty, simplicity, and form.
